Great pattern

This was a very nice pattern to make a Halloween cat from. I used purple velvet because I didn’t have any minky on hand, felt for eyes and nose, and added a stylish checked scarf. I think he looks pretty dashing! 😊

I changed the size to 150% of the original...

I changed the size to 150% of the original and used a fur fabric that, apparently, had too soft a hand, so I had to shorten the neck in order for the head would stay up. Maybe had I used minky, the resizing would have gone a bit better? Maybe a 150% body but a 130% sized head would have helped?
The other trouble I had would probably be solved by making some weighted pouches for the feet and the base. Weights would probably get the front legs to stay down and the cat might stay upright more easily.
Great pattern, just figured others could be helped by describing my difficulties.

Super cute!

Very cute and well-written pattern. If I make another, I think I will add a little packet of poly-beads at the base to give the body some more weight, as mine is a little top-heavy and has a hard time standing on its own, but other than that, I love it! I did add some whiskers to mine! :-)
