Summer Celebration 2020
Pack a picnic basket, throw on your swimsuit, and get ready to enjoy the sun. If you remember my Halloween event, this is just a slightly less scary version. I hope you guys enjoy! And don't forget your sunscreen.
First up is the bat picnic!
Each day in July will see the exclusive release of a different themed bat. These bats feature a mouthwatering variety of tasty foods on their wings and ears.
The bats will be released at 3pm EDT (GMT-4) with a preview at 12pm EDT. They are each made of super soft minky paired with cotton fabric and created using my own bat pattern. There will only be 1 of each available.

Get in the summer mood by starting a new tropical themed sewing project! The flamingo floaty and toucan patterns will both be 50% off for the month of July.

A giveaway will be running from July 1st to July 30th! The final prize will be your choice of picnic bats re-created for you! So you can choose which delicious food themed bat will be flying home to you. (Please note the pattern on the wings will vary in placement from the examples)
There will only be 1 winner initially, but if we get more than 5,000 individual users signed up I will add a second winner :)
The giveaway is open worldwide, but you must be 13 years or older to enter and have parental permission to do so if you're under 18. You will need to provide your shipping address and full legal name. Shipping is included, but if you aren't in the US you may need to pay import fees or taxes. The winner will be chosen by a random generator. Winner will be contacted and must respond within a reasonable time frame or forfeit their prize. If the winning entry is found to be invalid, a new winner will be chosen.

Will you release X bat again? \ When will X bat be in stock?
These are not regular stock, once they are sold they are sold. There is a chance I will make one again or I will open custom slots in the future and you can ask to have one created (assuming I have the materials available), but I have no plans to re-stock any of them in the immediate future.
When will the bats be listed?
3pm EDT daily, they may not show up immediately on the front page unless you delete cookies and refresh, but you can go directly to the link and they should be available there.
How much are the bats?
These picnic bats are $55 each, not including tax or shipping
Can you reserve a certain bat for me?
No, the bats are first come, first serve. There are no holds or reservations. They tend to sell very quickly (usually immediately, though some may stick around for a few hours).
When will X bat be listed? / What bats will you list?
The order they will be listed in is a surprise, you'll have to check back daily at noon to see the preview post. I've already shown about half the available bats in the group photos, but there will be more bats than previewed and these are a surprise as well.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, but please understand international shipping is currently taking 6+ weeks to arrive and things are rapidly changing in many areas with the pandemic. You will need to be patient.
What am I signing up for on the giveaway?
The giveaway itself, signing up gives me your contact info. You will receive a single email confirming your sign up, but beyond that you won't be contacted again unless you are a winner.
I'm having issues with the giveaway counting my entry.
Make sure you perform all the actions via the giveaway app, it won't record it if you don't link your social media accounts as it can't confirm it. It may also help to try a different browser and to make sure to disable any adblockers or popup blockers temporarily. You'll also need to give any permissions requested to link your accounts so the app can confirm you've actually completed the task (though you can remove permissions afterwards if you aren't comfortable with them). I have no manual control over entries, unfortunately, so I can't manually give you credit.
Why aren't the discounts available on Etsy?
Unfortunately, due to their high fees, I don't run discounts on Etsy. This event is only valid on my website. Please support artists and purchase from them directly whenever possible.
